In-Person Training Request:
Children On Campus in-person training is available for faculty, staff, students and volunteers who participate in a West Virginia University sponsored programs. The in-person training sessions provide education on how to minimize the threat of child abuse and to respond promptly and effectively should abuse be observed, suspected or disclosed.
Every three years, Authorized Adults for Children On Campus must successfully complete West Virginia University Child Protection Training. Individuals that have not completed the three year training requirement are prohibited from overseeing minor participants of any Children On Campus
The
Program Director is responsible for ensuring that only Authorized Adults
oversee youth participating in any West Virginia University sponsored program.
